It doesn’t feel like 24 hours could have passed…

…since Clinton ran the first 3am ad. I guess this campaign distorts our sense of time.

Here’s the problem with this ad, by reusing this now famous footage she is making a spoof of her own ad. If the first ad wasn’t meant to inspire fear and uncertainty, this would be a cute and clever ad. However, I think thanks to SNL, youtube, and even Obama and McCain campaign spoofs, this 3am concept has become a code word for a fear tactic. It opened the door perfectly for this response from McCain, and I’m really just shocked that no one anticipated the response or the fact that people won’t be made uneasy by the same ad twice. I think this is one tactic that should be save for every 24 years or so…

Interesting to note the fact they took out the footage of the little girl who is now a big girl and loves Obama.

    I heard that the Clinton folks had money problems approaching- suppose they saved money by using the same ad with different soundtrack? Bad Judgement??
