Patraeus on Don’t Ask and Serving with Gay Soldiers

General Patraeus appeared on Meet the Press this morning and was asked about his position on “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”  While he did not come out and say that he supports the repeal, the way he talked about the issue was very encouraging.  He said he supports the review of DADT, and emphasized the importance of the process.  He will also be called to speak on this on Capitol Hill in the coming weeks.

One interesting answer that I think says a lot about where he stands on this issue (and makes me wonder if he ever reported anyone for being gay under DADT):
