Maryland To Recognize Out-Of-State Marriages?

Maryland Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler has released an opinion today stating that it is likely that Maryland’s high court will rule to recognize same sex marriages that take place in other states.  From the Washington Post:

The policy implications of the opinion are not immediately clear, and Gansler says in a one-page summary that his conclusion “is not free from doubt.”

This is not binding, but may be used to guide agency actions or in arguments before the court.  The full opinion is here
